Are you ready for a boat tour of my world!

Very few have come to see me...  To help you feel like you’ve been here, I will take a tour.  For the next few weeks, I’ll cruise through different parts of my world… some real… some imaginary.  I hope you’ll join me.

Travelogue – July 1, 2003
Location:  Docked at Port
of Hall

We’re off on our journey.  I’m hoping for clear skies and smooth sailing.

July 2nd – Sure is beautiful weather today.  Heck, it’s Southern California… when ISN’T it beautiful weather?  Our front yard is so relaxing and we have beautiful flowers and bushes.  There’s a tree that I love to watch sway in the breeze.

I just love to sit here and look around.   It's so pretty and there is
always something new to see.

July 3rd – Welcome to our living room.  Remember Great great grandma’s chair?  This is her couch.

Grammy helped Daddy put new cushions on it for us and they sure are pretty.

That box over there is some kind of music box.  Not sure how it works, but there are some Frisbee things that mom and dad put in it to make it run.

July 4th – On this Independence Day, I pay tribute to an event that occurred on the day after Christmas, 1776.
I call it “Madison Crossing the Delaware”.

July 5th - This is Daddy's office.  Mommy uses it too when I let her.  Sometimes I like to look at the pretty screen because it's all colorful.  But most of the time, it's just a bunch of words.  B-O-R-I-N-G.  Excersaucer, please!  Maybe when I learn how to read, it will be more fun.  I doubt it.  Who wants to work when they can play!

July 6th - Setting off today for a trip through the jungle.
Have to be careful... there are lots of snakes and tigers around.

"Hey! Mr. Snake, this is MY boat!  Go find your own!"

July 7th - Uncle Mark is here
and we're playing Titanic.
He's the lifeguard
(<-------See his feet?)

"I'm Queen of the World!!!!!"

"Ummm.  Uncle Mark, What was that you said happened to the Titanic?"

July 8th - Entertaining today.

"Davin, What do you
think of my boat?!"

July 9th - Mommy's "pretty" room...

...We don't use this room very much, but it sure is pretty.  Once I'm able to walk, I'm sure I'll get to play in here.
"Right, Mom?"

July 10th - Hanging out in the kitchen.

"Whatcha making, Mom?"

  July 11th -

Peek-a-boo!

I see you!

July 12th - Out on the front porch today.  Those vines get bigger every time I come outside.  There's even a little bird's nest in there.

This plant is a big teddy bear.  It ISN'T very cuddly though!
July 13th - Setting out on a trek across the desert...

"Dad, Can you hook up the camel to pull my boat?" whisper: "Here Blizzard, Blizzard"

Look!  A tumbleweed!
July 14th - WEEEEE.  Sliding down the stairs!

July 15th - This is where I usually fall asleep.  Mommy puts me in my pajamas then I watch TV with her and Daddy.  It's always family time. I love it!
July 16th - Time for a safety lesson.

Always have a lifeboat with you!

"Daddy, Can I have a new lifeboat?  This one doesn't fit anymore!"
July 17th - Checking out the great outdoors.

"Mommy, What are those puffy things in the sky?  I've never seen them before?!"

"Hey!  Look at that cute baby!"

July 19th - This is where visitors stay when they come to see me.

July 18th - This is where I wake up every morning.

Daddy and Grammy painted it while Mommy supervised.  Want to see?

July 20th - Traversing the wilderness can be very dangerous...

"Shhh.  I think there's something
out there."

July 21st - Well, guess it's time to dock.
 It's been a fun "three-week tour" and
I look forward to our next adventure together.

Thanks for joining me on the trip!
