September 11, 2003

It's been a while since I have seen Papa Mick and Grandma Lanee'.  We travel to see each other whenever we can, but sometimes it seems like forever.  On a day when most people prefer not to travel, they boarded a plane to come see me.

I'm so glad that they did!  There's nothing quite like being cuddled by a grandparent.

September 12th - We left mommy behind and went for a walk around the block.  I bet mommy felt lonely in the house by herself!

I swear she isn't spoiling me.  She just likes to rock and sing to me.  No complaints from me!

Later on, Grandma Lanee' and I played with my toys.  She's an expert toy-player because she practices with my cousins.

Papa Mick, Why aren't you sitting on the floor playing with us?

September 13, 2003 -
On Saturday, we got up early for a road trip to Tehachapi, California.  We drove to see all the windmills, but stopped to do a little shopping.

I like shopping with daddy, he always buys me fun stuff.

When we got tired of shopping, we stopped at the Apple Shed for lunch.  I played on Papa Mick's lap when we were done eating.

September 14, 2003 -  We stayed at home and played.  I told Papa Mick and Grandma Lanee' a story about all the things I do during the day...

... and about how good I always am for Mommy and Daddy.  I have everyone snowed into thinking I'm a little angel.

Grandma Lanee' says I get to try some new food today.  She called it squish or something like that.  She says it is one of her favorite foods and that she eats it all the time.  I bet it is yummy!

Note to self... don't go to Vegas any time soon.  Looks like I'm not good at betting!

After a messy lunch comes a bath.  Daddy kept calling me Alfalfa for some reason.

September 15, 2003 -
Rattles are more fun when Grandma helps!

Pictures are cute when they have great people in them!

September 16, 2003 - It's been a great week.  Lots of quality time, lots of playing...

...but it's time for Grandma Lanee' and Papa Mick to go home.

Have a safe trip!

Hope to see you again really soon!
